Yes it does help. Thanks.
Hey, I got my two piece fly rod , would it make any difference that my line is a 5/6 wt.?. I always have used a 5/6 wt. rod and I don't know if makes a difference. I would appreciate some insight. Thank you and Peace be with you.
No,I'm in Harrison Co.just 30 minutes from the Ohio river. You take care , hope catch something.
Hi, Indibill54 here. Where in Indiana you from?. I guess with the weather has been hot and I didn't do much fishing . Next couple of days the weather will be good, the water is still a bit warm. I guess we'll wait and see. You take care and Peace be with you.
I sorry that you are unable to flyfish; my be if some of the young ones find an interest, you can teach them and you will able to flyfish withthem in a another way. Take care and Peace be with you.
I use a lot of roll casting so I 'm looking forward to try that type with it . How is using a bamboo ?, when I started flyfishing it was impossible to get a bamboo. I started in 1988, and now I'm 65 and I'm still learning. You take care.Peace be with you.
Hey any fly fishers , anyone of you all got a two piece fly rod and are they easy to cast?, I've got one coming in and I can't wait to try it. If any of you got one let me know. Peace be with you all.
My fly reel has a left hand, so I cast with my left and feed the line with right and when I get a catch I switch the rod to my right and reel it in with my left. If that make sense.
I am left handed and when I was growing up, I got used to using the right handed reel. That was the only one my relatives had and I was the only lefty that I knew of and I didn't know that there was a left handed reel.
Hi,what I've done was get a regular rod and cut the back of the handle, I put the stopper back on of the back, attach my fly reel and I was ready. When I got my fly rod, I had limited funds and got a 8 ft. Fly rod with the reel . Some how when we moved my make shift rod broke. I haven't made another shift rod but it worked. I hope this will give an idea. Take care.
That's right as long you got what they want, they will go for it every time. Take care and Peace be with you.
I'm glad that you use your fly rod on other fish.I think that more and more of us are showing that we like catching the blue gill, bass ,and crappie. They can put up a good fight. You take care and Peace be with you.
Thanks for the info. I guess I have gotten a good deal. Take care and Peace be with you.
Thanks for what you said "it's not what you got, it's what you do with it ," I fish for crappie, bluegill and smallmouth bass. I have no desire to fish anything larger than those. Take care and Peace be with you.
