September of "74 " spent a week there on my 1st. honeymoon and it is amazing in person looking out to those Islands named Big Moose and Little Moose . the only sand beach on Mt. Desert Island is about 100 yards wide with steep rock cliffs on either side . didn't get to fish but Bar harbor is really nice and i remember feeling like i stepped back in time a hundred years . at the campground people brought lobster almost every night $2 cooked ,it was really nice . Thanks Big A for the picture it brought back some fine memories .
well neighbor I am glad to see your sense of humor is working well that is a big part of healing , keep it north and you will be fine for when we are chasing those striped Bass . Peace .
they spawn in the upper Delaware and Chesapeake before they make their run north . look up [On the water } they supply a striper run map and update every week . it tells not only where the fish are but what size fish along the coast , and the same on the autumn run back south ,it's a great way to plan your fishing for east coast stripped Bass .
Danger , we do have a spring run on striped Bass so don't miss out
Boy I hope spring gets here soon
Fred , good research and that is how I have known them to be , from n. Carolina down and along the Gulf coast I now wonder what type are caught , now I want search that one , can't help it at this point HaHa ! tight lines My friend .

thanks Grizz I didn't know about deep creek I have been searching for lakes in Pa. I am sure one would need the Md. fishing license . this is year 3 with my boat only went to the Barnegat bay 2 x last yr. the restrooms were closed at nockamixon lake where i fish as well so i didn't get out much . my boat isn't very new either , I picked up a v hull 16 ft. 97 starcraft w/a 20 hp. merk on a trailer for 16 hundred no leeks and runs great added the hummingbird that has thermometer but that is surface temp so I use the old pool thermometer to get a reading below , perhaps we will run into each other sometime , name on my boat is Sloopy , stay well and wet a line !
Fred I would like to see the flounder they catch down there because flounder and fluke are not exactly the same fish as I am sure you know
