There 6 inches of snow on the ground....cold freezing rain falling....the boat ive been dreaming of buying for years is sitting under shrink wrap right where i left it since December.....surgery on ankle a couple weeks ago and cant walk....the folks from warm weather states posting pics of all the beautiful fish they’re catching.....this may be the longest winter ever!

Your time will come! Heal up, clean your reels, re-spool if necessary. Sort your tackle boxes, etc. Not much biting, anyway.

Sorry to hear about your ankle Danger. But like OJ said, spend your time preparing for your season. I’m thinking better to have this happen when you really can’t go out fishing anyways..... at least you didn’t have the operation in the middle of summer!!

And Ben...i was at least able to sneak a couple rods and reels past the bride...what gets delivered to the house while shes at work gets stashed right away...haha.

Sorry about the weather, boat and ankle. But like the other guys said at least you aren’t laid up in the summer. Lynny does our books so I don’t get away with anything. Lol. Get well soon.

Hang tight D. this to shall pass. That ankle will heal up and you'll be fishing soon.
My shoulder surgery shut me down a couple weeks and I was back. Slept on it wrong night before last and it's giving me a fit so I'll be sitting it out for a few days myself.
Heal up, tight lines.
