Been in central Florida for 11 months and found out about SALT WOW!!! Salt takes its toll on stainless steel, regular steel bearings donโt have a chance. Disassembled my 1974 Little Dude trail ( bought it new with my Sears and Roebuck 14โ game fisherman) to see how they are. It was not good, flushed and re-greased bearings. Now is the time to care of them, Or do it when your tire flys by you driving on the highway. Take care of our waterways and our stuff we love and our wives in that order... ps: love ya steph๐
Couldnโt ID it, it was a Silver Shadow then gone that fast!!! First thought it was a shark and with stainless steel leader he could of chewed down all he wanted, the 15# leader gave out when his bucket head twisted out of control. I know where he roams. Iโll be Back!!!
Fishing Sebastian Inlet 3 weeks ago and snapped it in half. Fished with it maybe a dozen times. Going to contact them to see if they are going to send me a new one. Last ugly stick I had bought it in mid 80s. Just broke a while back. Bought the catfish and snapped??? Not sure What to think.
Thought I was ready when been broken off a few times, went to #2 circle 8โ S. Steel leader, 15 #Stren mono leader, barrel swivel, 30# Braid main line. It picked up my shrimp and went East, thatโs when he felt he was hooked, he cut the water with the line and in 8 seconds and was on the west side of the channel and not happy. I was loving it, till I got him with in 6โ of the boat, came up from the bottom till I saw a 40+ โ Silver Shadow and he thought it was time to Leave!!!! With one head shake that S. O. B. Was Gone. Thatโs all I have to say about that !!!! PS 40# leader next time and then letโs see laughs last.
It came with the reel, and it came with a smaller plastic/rubber non slip. Like the bigger handle , fits perfect. Are you from the Ozarks? Moved to Florida 6 months ago and they will take me feet first. Love it here!!!๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ฑ๐ค๐๐๐๐๐บ๐ธ๐ท๐all fresh.
