Try Vita pickled herring near the Walmart frozen shrimp cases.
The mental picture you drew leaves nothing to the imagination !!!
BB, I hope you have a doorbell camera, don’t answer the door.

... If you do not like to pay $$$s to go fishing, do not come to CA. Just saying.
Years ago California had state entry signs that said “Welcome to California, now go home!”
These days their signs say “Welcome to California, whether you stay or leave we will tax you.”
Steve, My picture alone would be menacing enough much less wearing only swimming trunks.
Besides, I do not have a side arm.
You could just move down here where you could open carry too.
We have a 180 acre lake 1/2 mile away that has 5 to 10 lb large mouth bass, white crappie, bluegills, channel cats, grass carp.
You could open carry at the lake with your swimming trunks and fishing pole.
What more could you ask for?
[quote=OldManRiver]. “Nothing is more annoying than a party boat throwing their big wake, getting too close and disturbing my peace. I get the fact that it isn't my lake though.”
Some of those party boat groups are also drinking and don’t care who they disturb. If you ask them to quiet down, slow down, etc. they will go out of their way to harass you.
It’s not their lake either but the larger the group the bolder the drinkers get. It don’t happen as much with the Texas right to carry law.

Might want to call your local FIsh & Game office and ask.
Play it safe, as ReelT advises: Call your local F & G office.
Write down the name of the person that gives you the answers and what your Q & A’s are.
If a warden tries to interpret the law, pull out your note pad with the Q & A’s.
If he still gives you a summons, take your reference notes with you to court.
They will dismiss because you did your due-diligence.
Glad to see your first catch of 2021, now keep it up Paul.
When will you launch your kayak with the trolling motor?
Hit some of those hot spots and show us all that your skunk is gone.

... They loved the house and the neighborhood and so did we so we made an offer... tonight she called and said it is ours. We can’t wait to get out there and get set up. I have enough left over for a fishing boat. 😀😀😀
Congratulations, FD!!!
The pictures on Zillow look great. It looks like your biggest decision will be what cove to fish in.
Is there enough room for a shed/carport for the boat? Couldn’t see the driveway/garage side.
Congratulations again.

Engineers sometimes don't use common sense. We once were installing a machine but we couldn't put the last piece in due to a roof drain pipe being in the way. We called the engineers down and they said they didn't know the pipe was there. I asked "did it ever cross your mind to come down here and look at the site?".
We were installing a radar system on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.
The HVAC guys installed their ducts right across where the radar wave guide was to go up to the rooftop antenna.
When they had to move their duct work, they wanted more money. The U. S. Navy told them that the measurements were all on the drawings, move the ducts now. Don’t screw with the U. S. Navy!

With you Ben. Between the quarantine and 12” of snow on the ground green looks real good right now. Usually take a trip south this time of year. My wife’s ready to move to Florida. I told her we’re not making any life decisions until things get normal again.
And you just put yourself in the doghouse!!!
[quote=bottomcoon] I have a photo of a thermometer outside the kitchen window that reads 114 degrees. I'm here helping my mom.]
It is nice that you are there helping your Mom and just spending time with her.
Take another picture of the thermometer during the cold that you are having now.
Pictures never forget so take some of your Mom while you have the camera ready.
Another belated Happy Birthday.
I hope that you enjoyed your special day. You’ll never catch up to me, I’m too old.

Does that mean 1 is twice as much as 0 or 100 times as much?
It depends where the punta is in your zero.
My mom was a yell-er and my dad used common sense to raise me.
ONE TIME my dad took me into the bedroom, closed the door and yelled at me for my mother’s benefit.
He slapped his belt on his hand while I screamed then he smacked my bottom once and it did hurt.
I guess that I wasn’t such a bad kid after all. 😁
