I’m heading back down to Eureka Springs Arkansas around 20th of September can anybody recommend what’s the best fishing at that time in either Beaver lake or by the dam in the white river and if so could you give me some tips on what kind of setup to use.I will most likely be bank fishing as I haven’t found a boat to buy yet.
Well don’t go to Arkansas no fish there trust me I’ve checked.
Think I’m going with a st. Croix Mojo Bass medium fast .But am dif interested in custom made on the next one

I bought a new reel Shimano Stradic CI4 3000FB .I plan on using it for all around fishing Bass, Walleye ,Trout at mostly Beaver lake and the White River .Looking for a good rod to put it on .I have heard good things about St.Coix . Looking for any suggestions don’t want to spend over $200 I put 30lb power braid on the reel

My brother in law called today he is staying at my place in Eureka Springs .Told me he went fishing down by the damn right where all those trout where laughing at me .He said he got 9 Stripers and a Wallye .Dont know weather to congratulate him or kill him.
Ty haven’t gone back needed to come back to Joliet for a couple weeks might head back down in a couple weeks .I will pick up more power bait used up what little I hade last time .Definitely would like to know more about the white river jig
Snagging would take the fun out of it hell they were so close I could have netted them but that is not really catching them. I could see it if you are needing the fish to feed your family but I catch and release ok let me change that I hope to someday catch so I can release
I have a very large tackle box hell I was about ready to just throw the whole thing in and let them pick lol

Went fishing this morning in the trail waters of beaver dam on White River the water is so clear you can see 6 down feet crystal clear down to the bottom was fishing on the bank and looked down and we are right at a trout hole. There had to be at least 15 to 20 trout I spent 2 1/2 hours throwing everything I had in my tacklebox At these fish and not even a bite I mean I could see them as clear as if they where in my tub .I tried everything I even keep running into them with my lures .I do not Exaggerate i literally spent 2 1/2 hours and could not get a single one to bite even though they were less than 10 feet away for me
Haven’t tried it yet lol .It is about a 3 min walk down to the covered boat dock.Now I have to get a boat not sure what we want probably a fish and ski.
