You can’t go wrong with St Croix and they offer many under $200
If only trout and walleyes I would suggest an ML 7’, but considering bBass, too look at a M action fast tip

Hey CB. Ever consider getting a custom rod built to your specs?

Its like getting a Big Mac and then a stomach ache. You cook a fresh gourmet burger and never forget how good it was. You go buy a Fishing Rod that was made with thousands of others and its cool. You have a professional on here or learn it yourself and will never forget it. You will be much more proud of it and take better care of it.

I have both of my Shimano's on St croix rod's. one on a 7' and one on a 6'6. you dont need 30# braid for those fish. I use 4# and 6# Suffix832 with 24" of 10# flouro leader. never lost a fish or a lure.

No, Egghead does. They are beautiful and affordable if you are planning on spendin up to $150 bucks.
If you PM him I'm sure he could send you some pics and he prolly could build whatever kinda rod you wanted. Several of the guys have gotten him to build a rod for them.
