Hello everyone I have loved fishing since I was a little kid always wanted to go fishing but work seemed to always get in the way.Haven’t been fishing in 30 years.Always told my self when I retired I would buy a house on a lake and fish my life away. Well I did it!! Just bought a house on Beaver lake in Eureka Springs Arkansas.For the last couple months.Ive been doing nothing but reading anything I can on fishing.Some day I hope to at least become a fair fisherman I just love it.But unfortunately there is a lot to learn so far in the last 3weeks I have fished War eagle creek the white river and Beaver lake and I hate to say it but I’m 0 for all three not even a bite .Guess you are Gona see me on here a lot asking ?s

Beautiful area down there and good fishin’. We’ve been to Eureka Springs many times including the Passion Play. It’s worth the trip alone. Beaver Lake is one of the clearest lakes I’ve ever fished, and the White River is a beautiful float trip by canoe. If you like to fish, learn, or laugh, this forum is a great place to be.

Good for you, buying a home close to lake. That would be my dream, to have a home close to a lake. Just walk to it. I only live on 3/4 of an acre, mostly hillside & no place for a lake. Everyone on this forum seems to catch alot of fish and will answer all of your questions. Welcome

Hey Cue. I have a place on the other end where the White comes out of Bull Shoals. I have enjoyed the Ozarks since 65 when my grandparents bought their piece of paradise. Love the trout fishing on the river and also chasing all the other species iBull Shoals. Talk to your guide services and boat dock people as well as local tackle shops to get info on baits and lures to use as well as when and where different species are biting best.
