Numbers of fish caught is not relevant for me; that's why it's called fishing, not catching.

Per my Ifish connection, people are predicting a good population of springers but fear a short season.
Even more confusing is the regulations governing season, barbed vs unbarbed hooks, ok to use bait, etc. Fortunately, for me it’s still a great state to fish for fish that for me have always been hard to catch.
Follow your dr advice, get a booster, stay warm at home and wait for spring.
I use 65# braid for steelhead and salmon, tie on about 15 ft of 30# mono. I use Lighter lines for drift or bobber fishing in rivers for steelhead. Waiting for springers next moth.
