Smith mountain lake has it all. Riffs rapsn stump fileds, grass bed, tree fall overs. You get the picture. The fish hit a lot of different lures but my favorite w. Poppres, chatter baits, swim jigs and of course plastics and wacky worm set up's. Hope this helps.

The 150DC reel say after fishing salt waters run it under warm water and spray a rag with a light lubricant and wipe it down. I have a Shimano 150 Curado DC paired with Shimano 170M-G 7 foot rod that cast 1/4 to 1 oz baits and I love it. As with any bait casting reel you have to dial it in on each bait change but after that it is great to fish with.

Have one that is great. I reel it 5/6 feet and pause until ripples stop and twitch it. I love when the bass nail it which is 80 % of the time early mornings and cloudy days.

Hi FS friends. As you can see I am an Abu Garcia fan.The 4600BC was the latest new bait casters when I bought them new (that's an age give away). They have never let me down and for me some of the best soft bait, top water and crank bait reels I have ever used. I just add the spinner and the two low profiles and love them as well.

Have the black max and pro and they both as well or even as my 3 4600's. They are even better than my 4600 because of the improvement in the new braking system the black and pro has.
