Most of the fishing equipment and sporting equipment is made in China if you look close and see where it’s made

I just got n email from sportsmans warehouse. Johnny Morris wanted to buy them also. Does he want to corner the market. Eliminate all compation? Who's next tackle warehouse Dick's maybe even wal mart. It's never enough for some. Since SW is only 20 mins from home I may do all my looking there. He's getting like phone carriers 👍👍
Here in Olympia Cabela said they were going to open their store . I was at different small fishing 🎣 stores and i asked them if they were afraid of being put out of business by Cabala they said 🙈 🙊 it won’t happen 🙉 they have been put out of business shortly after Cablas opened

I do feel bad for the little guys, so I support the local bait shops whenever possible. Not sure how they can be $2-3 cheaper per lure than the big guys with all the “buying power” , but I suppose they don’t have the overhead and investors to worry about…?
I guess Oj. Take the pharmaceutical companies. They made a fortune on just covid. Why couldn't the sacrifice some for the country 😞
My Brother in Law is a huge man and a lot younger than me. He is mentally handicapped and the state recognizes this and would support him in a minor way, but he would rather work, so he works one job at 30 hours per week for a huge company stocking shelves in one department in one of their many stores as well as working as security for a weekend hours at a trucking depot. He got his handicap because about 64 years ago when he was born, he as a baby was over 13 pounds and the old DOC left him in the Birth canal too long and lack of blood to his brain caused the damaged. Sadly his parents did not know enough at that time to get compensation. They were real poor. the Dad was wounded at the Battle of the Bulge and was the first person I had ever met who couldn't read or write. I met him when I was dating my wife of 46 years on his death bed with terminal cancer. Anyway my BIL was invited to a Banquet by his company for his 25 year pin and could bring a guest, in this case he asked me. There basically wasn't seat assignments so i happened to be sitting next to an Executive who happen to be in charge of all the loss prevention in this big company. I asked him how much it cost the company because of loss goods, all the staff and etc. He said it costs close to a BILLION DOLLARS. I said, "what a shame, that could have gone towards price reduction on goods and all who shopped there would have benefited" and he agreed. When these stores/companies loose money because of loss, for whatever the reason, it is going to be the consumers who end up footing the bill. My .02 worth.

I got the Same Email Grizzly, probably just like a lot of other folks. I’m glad it didn’t go through, for different reason’s some but still glad. I have one 5 minutes from home, and they have most the stuff I want usually. I could Care less about Dicks or WalMart. They both no longer carry Guns or Ammo, but still want to sell you everything else to go Hunting. Now that to me is Just Plain Greed😠
It is hard but I try to buy all American--that being said it is hard to do.
If the American auto makers would have tried to improve the mileage on their cars, things may have worked out different. They did little to improve on engine design or interior design. I think they shot themselves in the foot. On top of that the lowered the warranty from 5 years 50,000 miles to 12,000 miles 12 months.

OOOPs, put this on wrong topic.
Remember fellas, not just manufacturing, it’s also in the charity’s you donated to. Who doesn’t want to help that poor puppy kitten or horse from slimeballs. But sometimes your donation goes to anti hunting and fishing groups. Need to do your research before buying donating and even voting. Got to make sure their not gonna back door you in the goat a$$$ Your intentions are good. But their motives are shady.
You are absolutely right !!!! Shameful.
you are so right. have to pay close attention. Same with political contributions. Another bottomless pit.
