I believe the earth runs in cycles. And it’s going thru one as we speak. But I also believe we’re not helping it at all. Speeding it up ??? Speeding up our own demise?? Feel sorry for the younger generation and even sorrier for my grandkids. For they will never know the feeling of catching a steelhead or the serenity of taking a nap next to a pond on a warm summer day. This generation has forgotten the simple pleasures of life. I guess we can only hope and pray for them

I worry about the grandsons but this is what they know. They don't veiw life from our eyes. Hate to say it but parents n grandparents helped create some of the problems. We try to make life easier for them but sometimes it bites us. They expect more out of life. I remember when Brody was little my wife n his other grandparents got him everything he wanted. One day he asked for something n I told him Grammy didn't have any money. He said all she has to do is go get it out of the machine. I had a hard time explaining to him you have to put the money in the machine before you get it out. He said Grammy doesn't put money in she just puts her card in. He gets it now that he's working πŸ‘πŸ‘

Well it’s cheaper than cable that’s for sure πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ and being close to nature seems to calm me down. No stupidity , things are the way they are supposed to be. And reading the FS letters give me the hope that real people are still out there and are all over this big blue marble we all have to share. So a toast to you my brother for finding some sanity in your piece of the world

I'm with you on the affect of FS. Nice to find people that still appreciate the simple things in life. Fishing can get costly if we choose to go there but it's still cheaper than therapist n meds. 😊

Big oil, Car/Truck Corporation has gone hand in hand since after the 60's why would they change now ? I've always been curious how stars stay bright, whatever makes them bright is some sort of fuel source, here on Mother Earth we as humans continue to take and take and expect the same outcome, does anybody wonder why prices of fuel , oil, natural gas, steel and other resources continue to rise? Maybe because it's becoming harder to get to ? I'm not or ever will be qualified to even prove nor disprove anything that's being talked about here right now, but I am a retired IBEW union Electrician ,that's what I've known since 27-28 years old, im 67 now and thats I can vouch for, I'll probably be bashed for my personal speech and thats ok ,but Mother Earth will not continue to support humans that doesn't support her,

Hi Jar. The 70,s really got things screwed up. Now many talk about renewable energy which is great. I don't know about the west coast but what I've seen here evmany want it but the don't want it anywhere near them. Wind or solar. Nobody wants a 1,000 Acers of panels n wind turbines have been protested on mountain ranges. They make too much noise birds fly into them they ruin the veiw. Another thing talked about as long as it doesn't effect them. Only problem I see is hundreds of Acers of solar panels to run one business. Some areas are wall to wall houses. No room to spit let alone all the panels or turbines needed to power these massive developments. I don't have the answer. Stay safe vout there πŸ‡±πŸ‡·πŸ‡±πŸ‡·
