I just got n email from sportsmans warehouse. Johnny Morris wanted to buy them also. Does he want to corner the market. Eliminate all compation? Who's next tackle warehouse Dick's maybe even wal mart. It's never enough for some. Since SW is only 20 mins from home I may do all my looking there. He's getting like phone carriers 👍👍

Four you n rip are both right. When I started researching some of this stuff I was surprised at how many companies are subsidiaries of foreign companies. Seems not much is totally American made. SHAMEFUL 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷

If it was Japan the quality is usually higher. But yeah. Who is more Greedy? A rich American or is it the other countries? Many times I see people’s opinions seem to point to it’s ok if the greed is Americans. Greed is what usually causes many problems. I remember being told when young buy American… that was when we had a choice. But realize it was greed that drove people to want things for less money. Greed is greed. So both ends of this stuck on buying imported stuff now was greed on the Americans part.

Jeremy that's about how it is now. Way too dependent on foreign companies. Yes I own foreign made products. Even Fords b Chevy are dependent on foreign parts. I had a 72 chevelle that had parts stamped made in Canada. Ford had plants in Mexico. I saw a thing the other day that said Toyota has I think it was 8 assembly plants in US along with Nissan Subaru n BMW. Hopefully it's US citizens working in them. 👍👍

China or Amazon (Bezos) may have made a better offer, or Morris just wanted out of the deal.

Have you ever been to Branson or Springfield, MO? Johnny Morris has the Midas touch!

they put their assembly plants here so they can eliminate the shipping and tariff charges. A truly capitalist move thus reducing the end cost of the vehicles.

Right but the China and Korea stuff way back was just to save money on our part. The Honda’s and Toyota’s was to save money on our part and hopefully get longer life.

Now it’s just the way it is on many products. Canada and Mexico is better than some other locations…. Long long ago. But now the option of buying an American Brand Name made here in it’s entirety is gone. Yeah my 1965 Chevrolet and 1973 Oldsmobile were made here. Canada and Mexico are where some imports were made way back then too. It was so they are assembled near their final destination.

Yeah it is Jeremy. I'm old enough to remember when we had all kind of factories Coast to coast. Auto assembly lines steel mills n fabrication plants every where. Now most are obsolete. All the billionaires that got things started many yrs ago have been replaced by other billionaires

I just got the same email. If I could respond to it I’d tell him if he’d get his prices down to compete with the competition I’d drop on by. There’s a SW right across the road from North 40 Outfitters in Lewiston Idaho. The only thing cheaper, for the same merchandise, at SW is AKs and not by much plus North 40 has a much bigger selection of the same products.

I saw at one time 64 models of GM autos were made overseas. I remember Harley riders giving me crap because of my rice grinding Goldwing. Now it is hard to find one Harley accessory or even shirts and jackets that are US made. I know the bikes are assembled here. But that is about it.
