If you’re using spinning tackle use FireLine. It feeds off the spool better. 6lb FireLine will we’ll outweigh 10lb mono (does that make sense?) and you can use 10lb mono or fluorocarbon leader if you wish.
I use Power Pro on all my
baitcasters and FireLine on all my spinning.
You may be disappointed if you’re a hydrilla lover like I am.
There is some around but the patches are few and far between.
Used to kill ‘em on water dogs 55 years ago.
Try to be on the water when the Solunar Tables show active feeding periods….. and concentrate!
Watch your line.
Kentucky Spotted Bass ARE native to the US. They’re very prolific and very tasty, but do not attain the size of largemouths. Lakes in Texas are dropping their minimum size limit on Spots to help decrease their numbers.

Well, this may be sort of cheating. I guessed the correct answer on a quiz a few days ago. It’s a weird one…..

Well, panthers do exist but not so sure about warewolves. 🤔
A better one would have been “Warewolf killed by Yeti”.

Love them grits, especially accompanied by bacon and eggs over easy.
On off days or cold days, oatmeal or cream of wheat work great for me.
Honey Bunches Of Oats With Almonds or good ol’ Wheaties or Total are my cold cereal choices.
Looks like they call it “Powder Paint” now. Haven’t used it in many years. Things change. Probably even better now.
Bass Pro carries it.
I just hold the jig hook with pliars and heat the head over a stove burner. Heat guns should work great also. Dip the head in the order and shake off the excess. You just want a light dusting. The powder goes a long way.
After painting I bake in the oven hanging on an oven rack, but that may be overkill.
If you want to tie bucktail Hula poppers you may want to split the tail to resemble frogs legs…. Maybe tie a knot in the hair legs with thread to create a joint.
Bucktail is sort of brittle and will only take so much abuse.
