I have said since 2003 that water will become the new oil. Unfortunately history tells us that big money usually wins. As you drive up the 5 corridor you see the walnut orchards and rice paddies being converted to almond orchards at an alarming rate. I don't have any answers to this dilemma as I believe government should stay out of private interprise. I also believe private enterprise shouldn't be able to rape the inviroment. Any of us who have fished the delta have noticed the quality of the water has greatly been reduced. We are doomed as a society with this them against us winner take all attitude.
Yup I fell for the same thing 20 years ago when I saw Bill dance use one. I see it 3 times all different types of water. Chartreuse is the color it always said to use.
I love them! For small ones skin and gut cut into 1 1/2" pieces. Dip them into a tempura mix with Italian seasoning with a little salt and pepper. Then deep fry. For fat ones you can filet them but before you dip and fry them, relax the meat with a mallet. BTW it doesn't taste like chicken. If I was to compare it, I would say closer to alligator.
I think that drone is out of the slot limit.
Wow, if it weren't for that coyotes legs, body, tail and head, you'd never see it!
Was just there yesterday. They are down at around 50ft. Was using a gold and silver flasher with a wedding ring tipped with white corn 14" behind flasher. As usual they are by the bridge. Good luck. My buddy was using a pink hoochie with corn. We both got our 5. They are running 10"-14" withan occasional 16". Good luck.
Can't possibly give only 2. Panther martin, mepps, rapala and a silver and blue cast master
Throw it back, it's not in slot limit.
Google freshwater full moon effects on fish. You will find many that you can argue with.
Scientific studies show that for salt water they seem to work and in freshwater crappi, bass and walleye (walleye feed at night) there is a possible pick up using them. Because the moon has no effect on tides in lakes and streams (excluding the delta).
Uh, there is a 2 fish limit on those bass. Looks to be 4 people fishing. Now really is 2 fish for person "that many"?
I think your your lucky that he didn't call doggy protective services on you!!
We fished it hard on Monday. Lots of good bites. We lost two at the boat (about 20" each) because we forgot the net. Good luck Watch for rocks the lake fluctuates about 3 feet a day. Best if you use float tubes. They have huge trout there because there is very little pressure.
It was cloudy. I wouldn't say muddy. Muddy pretty much to oak bottom though. I live in the gulch and launch out of oak bottom or whiskytown. The bass guys were catching though.
Went there yesterday fished the usual spots with the usual lures. Spotted many but no hook ups
