You may want to check firearms regulations on crossing state lines on firearms purchases.
I believe it is supposed to go thru FFL dealer. Otherwise both parties are liable for any and all laws applicable

My mother is good friends with Gifford family
I know exactly where Killarny is but never fished it much. Seems all the smaller lakes in Kansas are over run with vegetation any more
State and locals turned over maintenance to corp of engineers a few years ago and they neglect the smaller impoundments and only take care of the bigger state lakes. Imo it all about revenue sadly enough

The boar my buddy had couldn't hardly keep it contained. Had to bury railroad ties and quarter inch plate 3' below grade
And yes it was a mean SOB

I can see how worms would be a BIG problem. Have a buddy in Kansas that years ago trapped some piglets. I know KDWP frowns on that sort of thing. Long of the short is kept a boar, raised it an bred back to domestic sows. We butchered the rest. No one that i know of ever did get sick

My grandfather used to fish specifically for carp, drum and buffalo
They would clean and pressure cook them which breaks down the bone to be edible. Kinda like canned salmon
Don't knock it til you try it
