Which locations should be represented on the forum?

I'm thinking of setting up 4-5 sticky topics to always show in the digest.

Those topics would be location-specific. So that people can discuss fishing specific to their region all in one place.

What regions or parts of the country should I set up? (USA-only for now. Other countries would use the general Main section as before.)

There are many ways to do it and I'm trying to figure out the best way to present the regions in the most appropriate way from the fishing perspective.

Any ideas are welcome.

I think us bass fisherman out here in California are under represented... We have incredible bass fishing out here with some giant bass being caught. Also, our techniques and lures are usually β€œ first on the scene β€œ and could benefit the rest of the country hugely! Unfortunately, FLW, Bassmaster Elite, & MLF don’t really visit our state but on few occasions only. πŸ„πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸŽ£

Regions sounds good. I'm mainly interested in Pacific Northwest issues. But would like to drill down into specific regions in preparation for travel.

Inshore, near shore, off shore.
Fresh water; bass, trout, other,(?)
Lake, stream, river, pond. (?).
Fly, lure, bait.
Loads of water and types of fishing to consider. Good luck and thanks for the forum!πŸ€—

How about this ? (Left to right) - N/W - S/W - Mid-west/north - Midwest/ south - Central/north -
Deep South - N/E - Mid-Atlantic - (Georgia /Florida could be deep south or South Atlantic) - Since some areas have certain species specific to their areas, wouldn't this make things a little easier to 'divvy-up ' as regions ?

How about splitting the country with the Mississippi, East / West, Freshwater East / West and Saltwater East / West? Then have one for specifically the gulf coast, covering several states.

Hey Admin, personally I like it the way it is. If there is a topic I am interested in, I will click on it. No matter what the area can always learn from it. Nice going with what you have done.
