Agreed - like it the way it is. For example - striped bass are on both coasts and in fresh water. I like reading how they are caught in different environments.
So if it ain't broke don't fix it?

I agree. The way it is seems just fine to me...

I'm thinking of setting up 4-5 sticky topics to always show in the digest.
Those topics would be location-specific. So that people can discuss fishing specific to their region all in one place.
What regions or parts of the country should I set up? (USA-only for now. Other countries would use the general Main section as before.)
There are many ways to do it and I'm trying to figure out the best way to present the regions in the most appropriate way from the fishing perspective.
Any ideas are welcome.

Regions sounds good. I'm mainly interested in Pacific Northwest issues. But would like to drill down into specific regions in preparation for travel.
I would also like to see Pacific Northwest issues.
Right now, looking out of the window, I see it is snowing, the wind is howling and it is colder than my ex-mother-in-law's kiss. I like clicking on stripers and blues moving down the coast and bass in the grass and fishing with family. It doesn't seem difficult to sort through this forum.
Could you close the cold door please?
I am with the.. ain't broke why fix it crew. At present I am free to click on or join in on any subject I care to, I like that. Plus, I am constantly being informed and challenged, which I find enlightening.
I have a question for you, however... what do you consider "sticky topics" ? Have we not encountered a few of those already, and made it through the gauntlet with no bloodshed ! Lol !
All in all, I think you have a marvelous forum and administer it admirably...Thank you.
