Know they hunt them in Texas. Suggest you check out Fla hunting laws on internet for your answer.

In Florida., if you own the land they r yours, same as in ga., you own the land you own the hogs. You don’t want hogs on your land, just a thought. FYI you can shoot them 24/7. Get all the facts on line. FFWC

Yes. We had them on both . Sold the house and land. Moved up here in ga. After wife and I retired. We bought land up here about ten years ago. Been hunting here since 1981 at the same place. We have a hog problem up here. DNR shoots them for you out of choppers on your land. Fl. Ffwc wanted to poison ☠️ them. Not on my land!! That is when I was working for them. Only reason why I stayed my dad was alive. I told the folks when dad passed I was moving to ga.. 4 days after he passed I left floridaricans .Gov. Rick Scott threw me under the bus 🚌! I will NEVER put my foot in that place. He did me wrong but my God will sentence him!! Can’t wait!😊😊😊😊😊

Feral hogs are a serious problem. They breed like rats and are destructive to farms and homes. We hunt them like vermin in Texas and they are still increasing in numbers.

These are fit to eat? Or no one likes pork?i would think with all the homeless and hungry people in America some government agency would have something figured out by now. Never been in a state where they fly choppers and shoot'em. That's gotta be a stinking mess after a few days. Spose the coyotes and vultures do well

We have feral hogs here in California but I'm not sure you can shoot them if they're on your property. I know there's a season, limit and you need a license. I's out cat fishing at night out in the rice fields several years ago and heard a mama and her babies rustling and oinking in the brush. Packed my gear and got the hell out of there, bought me a Ruger .40 and carried everafter.

You eat a wild 😜 hog you wouldn’t by that pig 🐷 meat at the store no mow! My rule of thumb up here in ga. If the tail is curly it ain’t wormy, if the tail is hanging down it WILL have worms and be poor. I tell my lease folks to gut shoot them that the tails are hanging down. We can’t trap or kill all of them. Hogs eat our deer 🦌 wood.

I use a m-1 .30 win carbine with 30round clip. We have hogs in packs of 33to 72 in a pack. I unload on them. Don’t want them on my property or lease. But that is me.

You will be very surprised 😮 how fast they disappear! The hog and the black bear 🐻 are in the same family! They eat each other, live or dead 💀, don’t matters. Been hog hunting for over way over 50+years. My dad was a great teacher!

Why you can’t give them to the needy is they have disease that will kill you. You can’t kill a hog in the summer, pork spoils fast. Lots of states will not let you move a live hog, it has to be dead. Make sure you wear a good glove 🧤 well you are cleaning them. What kills people is how the hunters handle the meat and HOW they clean it. Please don’t take any hog meat that someone gives you unless you watch them clean it! You will be sorry when you catch them worms 🐛! I have had them twice now!! Just food 🥘 for thought 💭. Look it up on the website on hogs!!

Shot placement is VERY important, that is the key 🔑 for a good tasting hog! You want that hog to drop in it’s track, more it runs the more it put stink in it’s 🥩 meat. No balls, you are good, if it has balls I cut them out right there and now. Have a very sharp knife or a utility knife! A utility knife is my favorite!

Brucellosis and tapeworms common in FL hogs. Use gloves when cleaning and cook well! Wife had tapeworms for 6 years with crazy diagnosis even from Mayo Clinic (violent vomiting syndrome)? Took one very sick lady to see a tape worm in stool after Mayo Clinic testing and local walk in clinic to properly diagnosed tapeworms! Really 6 years doctors miss diagnosed her, no one checked for tapeworms? Eat some BBQ and I got sick as a dog for hours, everything came up and she kept hers down! Thats where she got tapeworms, BAD BBQ uncooked! Beware!
