Have had my old timer since my 20s. 30 plus years having in and out of my pocket. The best thing about that knife is when you sharpened it. It stayes sharp. I don't carry it as much now.
This year before spawn I couldn't catch a cold. I don't fish spawn bass but after I've done pretty well nothing over 2.5 pounds . catfish blue and channel I've tore them up . going bream fishing tomorrow so hopefully that will be good. Don't keep track of how many or if ive been skunked or not. I just enjoy it . If I catch I catch if I don't it was still a good day. Tight lines
I catch alot of cats , bluegill , sunfish , white and yellow perch, stripers. , snake head and large mouth bass. All here in middle river at Wilson point. Then occasionally a spot or croaker . really depends on what your hunting for snakes bass blue gill I use artificial lures and some live bait. The rest I use cut bait , worms or whatever for that day.best Best thing is to go to local bait shop and ask questions.
Or you could just get a pack of hook keepers from eBay or some place. They also make a wrap for lures. I took a price of thin cardboard and covered it in duct tape and put some Velcro on it to keep it closed and around the the rod. Just some suggestions. Before that I just hooked it to the frame of an eyelet. Lol
I'm going Tuesday , they are slowly coming in. Tuesday is going to be warm.
