Three cheers for our DNR with their big catch of the day.👍😁
To small is when there's more bone than meat. To big? Haven't caught that one yet. 😁😁
Sorry. Supposed to say growling. Lol growling comes when nothing works.😁😁
I fish bass. walleye. Trout. Pan fish. Pike. I use an arsenal of lures but when I cant beg a strike I switch to a beetle spin. White 3 or 4 inch beetle for larger fish and 2 inch beetle for pan fish. They resemble minnows and almost every species will hit them. Casting or growling inland lakes and rivers they work great. Good luck. 👍
I use a 14 black or red swivel. I prefer red. I seem to catch more trout with the red in front of a rapela minnow. I use swivels with everything. Sometimes 10 to 12 inches up from lure but usually connect direct to lure or spinner.
I do not know the condition of your river but flathead cats (yellow cat) ( mud cat) (shovel head) all the same fish. Iof cleaned right are delicious. If your river is polluted then I would advise against eating them there. I dont know what 55 means by nasty water. Best time to catch them here in michig
An is late spring till august even Sept if still warm. Good luck👍
Why not. They're very good tasting.😁😁
Cheese crackers and a poweraid. Grape flavor. When I'm on the river I bring aluminum foil, butter and seasoning salt. 😁
I'm 66 yrs old. Grew up with a trout stream on the back of our property so I've been fishing probably 61 yrs. That OH YEAH feeling never dies. I still get that thrill even with a nice size blue gill. That and when your fishing you can shut out pretty much any problems or stress related issues you might have. 👍👍
Well if you dont take my advice at least you got a good laugh.😁
Ok. When I push send it changes open bail to open bake. Lol
