You could start with Red Banks in Fremont.
They should have everything you are looking for from lodging, shore fishing, or boat mooring. Google “Red Banks Motel/Resort” and their site will have contact information for you. Good luck

That’s true that the White Bass typically are actively spawning that the same time that the Lilacs are blooming. Crappie too!
And this is also about 3-4 weeks later than our Walleye, which do to the extremely cold spring this year was really inconsistent. All in all Mother Nature knows what she is doing though.

PS the white bass are a distant relative of the Striper

Do some research
The ice gets so honeycombed and saturated with water then sinks but not to the bottom
Warmer water below does an inversion in the lake just like in fall when the lakes turn
