How you doing Clyde You might need to PM J in Cleveland if he doesn't chime in. I was up there last couple years and we used spoons on the boat I was on. I can't remember the guides name my buddy set it up. I'd say the same techniques will work. everybody uses different tactics like worm harnesses, stick baits, big Josh's, and huskies. J in Cleveland hopefully will be along after work 👍

There are a ton of good charters in the Port Clinton area. The walleye fishing has been so good the passed couple years that I’m sure any of them will put you on the fish. The link below is to the outfit I use. They have a bunch of boats and captains that all share info so they usually know just where to find them. If you do Facebook follow Fisherman’s Wharf out of Port Clinton they post tons of info on the catching they are doing.

Clyde,

Where are you planning to depart from on Lake Erie? Toledo, Port Clinton, Vermillion, Huron, Ruggles Beach, Avon, Cleveland, Wildwood, Mentor, Ashtabula. There are qualified Guides at all these locations. Plenty of Walleye this coming season. Be prepared for possible sticker shock on Charter fees. Fishing tactics depend on time of year and water temperature at each of the mentioned locations. Also, each Captain has their favorite way to land limit catches.

If you zero in on where you want to fish along the North Coast, let me know. I would be glad to make recommendations if you need them.

Lots of experts will provide you answers here.
