Hi you use pompano rigs? What flavour fish bites? Gonna go next week, I an hour north!
Could anyone tell me the best surf fishing in Bradenton area where I wont be kicked off the beach!
Should I use cut bait, sputnicks and 9/0 hooks or pompano rigs?
Also I'm Senior so casting is 50+ yards but will get into water and wade to get bait out there?

Use can cat food poke holes in bottom and wire it to your trap.
Use GoPro to see what's at the bottom. Any pier or dock that is chummed regularly is your best bet. I pull in big blue crab off my dock when fishing shimp.
Tie strips of fish bite any flavor to trap and you will get tons of crab.
Inclosed trap is easier check every 8 hours.
Kayak fishing Little Manatee this week and beyond. Any suggestions for bait and rigs? Any fish is OK catch and release!

I live on W Shell Point Rd on Little Manatee River. No game fish anywhere. No redtide here.
Last 6 months I have caught rays, sharks(lots of bonnett heads) toad fish, eels and 1 cobia. Mostly from shore. I did see a few schools of mullet.
Fishing 3 times a week.
Have seen Manatees and Dolfin.
I surf fish St Pete. Park at the lot closest to the Dolphin motel.
I walk south a little away from the people. Haven't been there for a month. But thinking about next Tuesday, less people during the week.
Iittle manatee river from railroad tressel to the mouth is there any game fish? I have caught rays and sharks only and catfish. What bait and rig should I try for so something edible?
