Could anyone tell me the best surf fishing in Bradenton area where I wont be kicked off the beach!
Should I use cut bait, sputnicks and 9/0 hooks or pompano rigs?
Also I'm Senior so casting is 50+ yards but will get into water and wade to get bait out there?
Thanks

Generally, a 9/0 hook is overkill unless you are shark fishing. I have caught some surprisingly large fish with a 2/0 on a Pompano rig.
I'm in my 70s and have learned how to surfcast. Here is a video on the technique that I use. It is all in the left hand.

BUDDY, IN THE BRADENTON AND ANNAI MARIA ISLAND. LOVED TO FISH THE INLET BUT NOT VERY GOOD FOR AWHILE, WOULD SAY A 5/0 HOOK WOULD BE PLENTY FOR ANYTHING OFF SHORE , BUT AT NIGHT. iF POSSIBLE USE A LIVE PINFIST OR WHATEVER ALIVE.GET OUT AS FAR AS YOU CAN , BUT IS HAS BEEN SAID THAT GOLIATH LIKES IT THERE
In Florida no one owns the Gulf and Atlantic beaches the only thing that they can do is restrict your access to the beach.
Longboat key park has a good parking area and access to the inlet on the beach where you can fish . The current runs strong but fish are caught there . There’s no swimming in this area
Cortez and Coquina beaches. I love Bridge Street Pier(caught a 5ft Nurse Shark 2 weeks ago)
Long Boat Key.😃
Try Cortez beach. They have concrete piers and have caught lots of fish off them. A one pound pinfish also. Many sheepheads and snapper around the pileings of the pier.
