Nice Fish Table Rock!

Yup I'm with OBG the fishing has sucked lately.
Tried to scope out a new spot a few days ago. I went to Puddystone in San Dimas. Had to get my boat inspected for Quaaqa Mussel. I had really tried to get my boat ready and dry the day before. After about a minute into the inspection the lady found a single drop of water around my hull plug and refused me entrance. I get it, although the state of California's laws are out of control.
Now I have to wait 7 days to get reinspected. Don't forget the $16 I spent on the Quaaqa Mussel decal.

We use a Strike King Mr. Crappie Jig Head 1/8 Oz, #2 Hook, chartreuse or white with a 2" brown or green plastic wiggling tail worm. Than you top the hook off with a crappie bite. Kind of like a Power Bait product. If you come up in May - July the bite is some times very good. Although been here in September and Oct and the Bait shop will tell you they haven't seen a Perch in a couple months. Kind of a fickled fish . But a blast to catch if you hit right!

Between the 3 of us we caught about 35 - 40 fish by 930 am.
Noticed on the Bass Master"s moon calendar yesterday was an ok day and that was confirmed by catching 5 or 6 fish. Today was listed as a Good day and true to form we did very well. If ayone has any fishing plans for this week Tuesday is listed as epic!

Had a good day fishing in the California Sierras at Lake Crowley today. These are Sacramento Perch. Will try again tomorrow.

Congrats on 55 years that a something to be proud of!

No just 2 or 3 weeks ago, went to Skinner had a few bites didnt do good. Kind of got stuck putting in a shower in my downstairs bathroom. Wife says we will need it when we become disabled (I hope she's wrong about that). Then my trolling motor died and that took a week or two to get a new one. Bringing my boat in tomorrow for a warranty check on motor I had installed last year. Trying to get out next week if I get my boat back.

Let me know how you do if you get out there? You seem to have a higher fishing skill set than I, and sure enjoy seeing the pictures.

Giving up on Skinner? I haven't been up there in a few weeks myself. My trolling motor died and was out of town in Paso Robles. Hows the fishing been lately ?

Wow nice fish OBG! Finally a dimmer of hope. I've been skunked the last few times out at Skinner. Can you give up any of the intel on what you were using? Hopping to go out this week after the rain passes.
