Welcome to the stage. Yep, fishing sucks right now but in the spring it will pick up

My brother lives in Irvine. He fishes the surf near by all year when he is not snorkeling, riding the surf or catching mackerel off a nearby pier. He is a lot younger than me being in his 60's, so he can still handle playing in the surf.

Yup I'm with OBG the fishing has sucked lately.
Tried to scope out a new spot a few days ago. I went to Puddystone in San Dimas. Had to get my boat inspected for Quaaqa Mussel. I had really tried to get my boat ready and dry the day before. After about a minute into the inspection the lady found a single drop of water around my hull plug and refused me entrance. I get it, although the state of California's laws are out of control.
Now I have to wait 7 days to get reinspected. Don't forget the $16 I spent on the Quaaqa Mussel decal.
Thanks for reading my rant and good luck!

Wow, or inspectors are very nice and very reasonable here in Washington. I got the same positive attitudes in Idaho. How would we get a dry inspection with all our rain.

Been there done that Sonny, lesson learned. The way the lakes are right now, probably didn't miss much except for a nice day on the water.
