Try some nightcrawlers, dip some powerbait eggs in some fresh garlic juice, shiners, minnows, marshmallows I always take a ton of different bate with me and throw different things till I get a hit, and I stick with whatever they are biting that day. Then move to another spot when the bite stops there

😆 that's a good response, I've never had bass or pan fish such as crappie, sunnys or any of those simply because I never caught any big enough though I will someday when I get some good ones

Nice!! I've never had perch or crappie yet, I hear they are great. I've just never been lucky enough to catch any perch big enough and never once caught a crappie. But I guarantee I'll be eating some if I ever do.

Ok on the back I've never driven back there, so there is easier access to the creek there? I've occasionally seen people fishing down there driving on 80

Depends on preference, but a guide to start with. I'm a trout guy so I like to use 6 lb fluorocarbon. They can't see it in the water plus it's easier to cast and it doesn't get tangled very easily. But whatever else you are fishing for if it's bigger game, or saltwater I'd definitely go heavier like 10 plus. Just keep in mind the heavier you go the lest cast ability you may have, uless!! You are going with a larger rod and reel.

You can never go wrong with some night crawlers, rooster tails spinners, and garlic scented power bait

I'm from PA, I've heard about that lake from a few guys at my work. I won't go because I heard it was catch and release only, be careful of snakes though I have heard there are tons of them around that lake. Wish I had more info for you

Here in Pennsylvania it's 5 a day limit, and they have to be at least 9 inches to keep but I don't keep anything under 12 inches and usually only take home 2 or 3 fish. Enough to eat for a day or two, unless they swallow the hook then no choice but to keep them or they die.
