Made a commitment
to my buddy to hunt birds (pheasants) and bucks later in the afternoon. Shortly after my friend and coworker at the shop(Blaine) asked me if I wanted to go fishing with him and his brother. Well, I couldn’t deny my previous commitment. Birds and bucks were were a bust but the boys did pretty well on the lake.

I seem to do a lot of those wrong choices RJS, such as getting into the slow line at the bank.

It happens Brad, I chose to put up a new ladder stand last night after work. My Son checked the camera closest to my usual spot and sent by me a pic of a big buck walking past my spot while I was 150yds away working.
You and I may actually be related 😂

I'd give up the pheasants in a heart beat for those Perch but you don't know.

Yeah Fin, I would have much rather been fishing but couldn’t back out of my commitment.

Absolutely FY, and he said it was a slow day! Only caught 40 or so perch and had to root through them to get around 12-13” keepers. The crappies were also quite nice. Blaine is certainly the best panfish, walleye and lake trout fisherman I know.
