Just went out of Key West this past Sunday , Went out on a Capt'n Conch Charter the Reef Runner II. Capt'n Steve and First mate Stan was able to get us into Mahi Mahi and some Bonita although not good eating they are commendable fight for sure . Also was able to land a nice Black Fin Tuna and one of the other party on our boat caught a nice big Barracuda . Definitely had a blast . Bring plenty of hydration and sunscreen you will need it .

Been going Shore fishing ,I really like the surf fishing --plenty of action and I haven't figured out what boat I'm interested in getting yet quite a few to choose from down here . But do plan on acquiring one eventually .

Look at the fish counts at Willamette Falls and Bonneville Dam --If the counts are low fishing will be slow . Weather has been very cold and crappy there for the last 2 weeks . Good Luck !

Little Cold yet up by Jax 60 this morning I like going when its 65-68 stays that temp for awhile in March thru May .

We have caught a lot of Salmon at night using Brad's lighted Wobblers at night they have them in Green or Red strobe lights , Salmon would just smash them at night . Never have tried them in Florida
He lives in Washington State , he can fish all year round too . In the winter months you can fish for Steelhead and soon as the ice melts there are a lot of trout lakes . I lived 35 years outside of Vancouver, Wa. and we would fish all year long. Lots of Coastal streams get runs of Coho's also . lots of fishing opportunities all year round . If you wait for the rain to stop you might never leave the comforts of your home .
Go down to Sodus Point or Port Bay as well on Lake Ontario
