Smitchell, you live in Tennessee and in your area y'all cut you teeth on a butt stock of a rifle, like my dad was from Kentucky and mom from Tennessee but moved to Florida and I was born a few months after that's why I tell everyone that I was in the oven on the way down. I was raised with a gun in my hand, but here in Florida not many people wants to teach the kids how to use a gun and that's the problem when they find Dad's gun they don't know how to handle it and end up killing them self or someone else... that's what I'm saying to carry nowadays they should have to take a class to know how to use it, that's just my opinion πΊπΈπΊπΈ

FLA has had a carry law on the books for years, just because they do away with paying for a permit, doesn't mean anything is going to change. I have my card here in Tennessee which allows me to travel to other states we have reciprocity with. We also have Constitutional Carry you that you don't have to pay for if you only want to carry within the state. You are making an assumption about the people there in Florida. As for the boating part of this, here in Tennessee we had our law amended so that we can carry on a boat several years ago. Still no issues and none of the "end of life as we know it" issues we were told was going to happen. Same things were said up in Ohio who, like FLA had a carry permit system for years. When they went to Constitutional Carry, you would have thought someone was going to murder puppies in the streets the way the Left carried on. The law went into effect a year ago and no issues.
