Clear water- a square bill that averages 12 to 18 inches above the cabbage. Lots of wiggle to tease the big ones out to play. Stained- senco or yum or zoom jigged slowly thru the salad. 3 inch paddle tail swimmer.

I mapped your location. Good looking area. Lots of fishing reports for the big lake . Not so much for inland waters. Huron R. has lots of bends and access west of fort st. Chinook are being caught in 60-80 ft on spoons. Got a boat ? Smb and lmb are being caught along the rocks on crawlers. Might try plastics. Your call. Tight lines!!
As a traveler of this great country and particularly fond of the west, the story is an eye opener to me. Ive passed thru there a dozen times, always in a hurry to get where im going. Next time though, i will make time to stop and honor ALL the men who died during these battles.
