Now I don’t post or respond very often but I really appreciate opening the stage everyday. Been retired for 6 years and keep sayin I’m gonna get back out there. Kind of intimidating considering it’s been about 50 years!
Thanks to the stage and a local connection I made I’m actually gonna do it. Sounds goofy for a 66 year old man but I’m really excited.
Thanks all of you! Keep posting!

Good luck and Tight Lines Greg! Where are you going, and what are you fishing for?
Trout, American River. It’s pretty warm so maybe they’ll bite early.
Best of luck to you. Hard to beat time on the water.
Ive fished the American canal in south east cali. Is the river a differt thing? I was out by el centro

Good luck with the Trout! I'm not sure if you have Smallmouth Bass down there, but if you do, they make a nice back-up target if the Trout don't cooperate. Either way, have fun and enjoy your time on the river.
Oh yeah, don't forget the pictures, fish or no fish.
Good to hear from you again, Tocino. Good luck with your fishing, Brother.
South Fork American River above Folsom Lake, Northern Cal.
