First time I've been fishing this year. I went to a stocked pond . Caught 4 trout, 3 silver planted and 1 fat Rainbow with a spinner that looked like this but with black hair instead of white. I lost the one I was using . Fun to be out throwing hooks again.

I actually rolled over on my belly and had to stab my fishing pole in the mud like an ice pick while still sliding. That's how I stopped . But my feet were in the water up to my ankles. I was on my knees and made it to a stick and worked my way out of the muddy area to some dead raspberry bushes ( ya.. they stuck and scratched me pretty good) That took about 3 min. to crawl 6ft. When I got to my feet I had a lot of thick red mud hanging of my arms and clothes. Funny tho, I looked at the water considering washing up and snapped outta that thought quickly. It was crazy funny.

Hey my friends with wet socks, This week I started out in Pollock Pines, Ca. on Wednesday at a place called Forebay and slipped in the mud and fell on my butt. Kept sliding till both feet were in the water Hahaha. No luck fishing so we packed up and headed on Hwy 49 to Sutter's mill in Coloma, Ca. between Auburn and Placerville. This river called Lotus ( First pic ) was so peaceful and beautiful. No kayakers or rafters on the water first time ever for me. Place was clean. No luck.

Thursday we went to Folsom lake with the raft to a place called Browns ravine (second pic). Lake was very low but just drifting on the water , do some casting then some rowing , more casting. Didn't matter if the fish were biting or the raft was sinking. Good fishing trips.

By the way, When I was sliding down the bank headed for the big drink, I was told it was some funny sht and could I do it again for the camara. hahaha

I fished Flathead lake July 29th . Went on a charter for lake trout. It was different. All I did was reel em in. The guide did all the fishing. Stayed in Kalispell by Somers. Coming back to Montana at Xmas time. Maybe Ice fishing for the first time. Going down to the Ruby river for sure. Best time fishing ever was on the Ruby.

Got the raft out and went to Lake Natomas this morning. Fun just floating around throwing a lure to the bottom then reeling it up about 6 ft and bouncing it up and down. This little guy grabbed it and fought like a big one. hehe . I love trout fishing !!

Natomas / Sacramento. I went to the Nimbus Dam hatchery to get some pellets but they were closed till a later date... Coronavirus I guess. That's what they were raised on. Fished a little at Dark lake too but shallow as far out as I could see. I was throwing out about 35 - 40 ft . I asked a kayaker going past my bobber if he could see the depth there and he said about 2 ft deep. that creek was dried up. It used to be such a good camping ground 10 years ago.
