Got the raft out and went to Lake Natomas this morning. Fun just floating around throwing a lure to the bottom then reeling it up about 6 ft and bouncing it up and down. This little guy grabbed it and fought like a big one. hehe . I love trout fishing !!

dman you should put your location into your profile, city and state, although you kinda gave it away with the lake you're fishing. I love it over there. There are some fatties in there, especially if you go........................not gonna say. If you don't already know and want to know, PM me.
BTW - where I'm talking about there are some nice smallies and that would be one of my favorite lures for them. Thanks for sharing your photos.

I believe you’re right about that being a kastmaster. They’re great for trout. Caught plenty on kastmasters.

I haven't caught anything ON anything yet this year, but before this skunk arrived at my door it was one of my favorites if I wanted to get some distance on my casts. For trout and smallies, but I've even caught bluegill on them. Anything in the surf with an appetite for other fish will hit it, and you can throw the bigger ones about a half mile.

Is that one of those kastmaster knock offs? We use those for pikeminnow and they work great. The real kastmaster does too but the knock offs work just as good and way cheaper.
