I had some ok luck the other day on my birthday in San Diego Bay .
I launched at shelter island and went down by the Cop shop west of the pier and fished the shoal where it drops from the shoal to deeper water and bam ,caught this Hali, then went the opposite way to the other side facing the tip of harbor island and off the shoal there caught a nice cuda, there's a lot of fish in the bay just waiting for my lure to come along ! Or yours , I'm going early Friday morning supposed to be a good bite on between 5;00 and 9:00 tides for fishing says so !

Anybody have a fishing Report for San Diego's (Bay& Harbor) ? November 1st to 18 th 2022
My favorite like most everyone that's ever caught any is halibut ,there tricky though , Spotted Bay bass , shortfin Corvina , Spotfin , and Barred Surf Perch when there spawning ,they get huge !
Thanks and tight lines always!
Haven't tried the Berkeley baits ,sounds like I need to , I started building this boat that was built in 1958 it looked like crap when I started on it as COVID project ,because it was running rampid , I ended up catching it later needless to say that was the worst virus I caught in my life but anyways I finished the boat and now it's a bad ass , fishing, and lobster, and pleasure craft ,I got some really good spoted bay bass spots in Mission and San Diego bay if your interested, Most everyone I know except a couple work so I don't got no one to share the good fishing with if your interested hit me up , Nick 619-530-6747 thanks for the tips and tight lines always!
Thanks Fishandrods, that's solid info ,a friend of ours catches 20lb'ers around there somewhere during the spawn ,but he's not giving any of his Intel up !
Thanks RJ , appriciate the feedback , thing is locals
Don't favor telling about their honey holes and I can appreciate that also !
This is nico hello everyone out there on the east coast I happen to be out here on the west coast where we have a couple of different kinds or species of your fluke or flounder ,but over here they are called halibut and so far as I can see and I don't know why is the sizes of them , out here they can get to be of huge and enormous sizes 10,to20 to30-35lbs on up the further north you go ! Down here in San Diego the legal size starts at 22" and you can take home 5 a day and fish for them year around . I'm not sure what it is back there but I heard there is a season for them and might be legal at a smaller size . Smart fish ,sharp teeth, and every one of them looks at you when they're in your boat or at your feet wishing you would get your fingers close enough to bite ! And did I mention awesome tasting ! Tight lines everyone !
Thanks great tip ,but I havnt seen live anchovies in a long time where do you get them at ?
Thanks that's great info ,especially the part when it comes to slowing the boat down ! I only have an 11'6" boat an the wind as of lately seems to shorten my length of drift!
Thank you for your reply ,and I know your full of knowledge when it comes to fishingand other things ! So with your permission can I call on you again for some expert advice ? If will be greatly appreciated
Nicholas
