Not sure if they went South or North to the Channel Islands.
It was a two day trip so your guess is as good as mine.
Last year we got into the big boys North of San Diego on the backside of San Clemente Island.
If I was a betting man I would say South
I didn’t make this trip but thought I would share the info….
Pic is from the Polaris Supreme out of Seaforth landing Mission Bay
They are back on the big grade. Up to 180lbs. this trip.
They do turn into delicious fish tacos!
😂
First 1/2 day trip on the Preimer for my granddaughter and she wins the jackpot with a nice sand bass.
Couldn’t be prouder.
I remember buggin my Dad to buy some of his top water lures for bass.
I must have been around 7 years old …
1966
I moved here from Ohio in 78.
Same set of questions.
Somewhere I learned…
Adjust, adapt and overcome.
And these Florida strain bucket mouths put the Ohio bucket mouths to shame.
A few pics from shore fishing Santee lakes over the past couple years.
Poway Bob…
What lake are you gonna be fishing?
Nice report Sawheeler.
That time is getting close in So Cal,
Waiting on my neighbors Cherry tree to start blooming and it will be go time.
Good luck to all!
Nice perch!
I haven’t seen one like that since I was fishing Lake Erie back in the 70’s
Making me hungry!
😂
Nice!
What’s your favorite recipe for those bad boys??
Five per angler on Yellowfin.
The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing
Same pic on all three downloads. Not on my game this morning!😂
Nice grade of Yellowfin in range of the full day boats.
Hey Ziggy
What I catch I eat and there is no incidental take like commercial fishing. They have limits in place for a reason and I abide by them. The BFT weren’t even in the equation off of San Diego 15 years ago so they must be doing something right regulation wise.
Make sure everything you take home and eat is on its deathbed. I will follow the rules and enjoy my time on the water.
✌️out
Maybe on the east coast.
Atlantic tunas are the most common tuna and are found in the Atlantic Ocean. Pacific Bluefin is a rarer species and is found in the Pacific Ocean. Atlantic tuna is larger than Pacific tuna. Pacific tuna is more torpedo-shaped, while Atlantic tuna is more rounded.
