Bob would hold his head down and rapid punch the big guys in the mid section. Never could figure out why the other guy wouldn’t just give him an uppercut. I’m 5’5 myself so I can relate with Bob.

Hey Steve. Just saw your posts, hope you had a great birthday. More importantly, prayers to you, your mom and family. Always a hard, tough decision. My mom is 96 and 3000 miles away in orange county, CA.
We are getting close to having to make the same decision. My sister lives about 30 minutes away from mom and says it is getting hard for her even though she has help 5 days a week. These decisions are hard but we must do what is best for those we love and were there for us when we needed them. Again prayers are going out buddy. Hope you have a great Easter and catch a fish to celebrate the holiday. David

Wow Dave, almost my story in early '90's. I am in Virginia my mom was in Southern Calif. My brother and sister were close to her and had to make some tough decisions without much help from me.
Steve there are a lot of us who can relate to your pain. I am sure many of are praying for your family.

Just prayed for your mom, you and family. We’ve been there with both mine and my wife’s folks. Tough thing all around. Will continue to pray as God brings you to mind.

Got a used 22 ft cabin cruiser. Every time I took it out I had to work on it. I told my wife a 22 footer needs a name. My 12 year old daughter said, name it “Allergic to Water”. She takes after her Mom.

I was a Radioman at the Gunfire Support School at Little Creek Amphib Base from Dec. 1960 to Han. 1964. Funny, there was an Ft there by the name Hansen. Probably another Hansen.

Started an Electrical Contracting company With my 2 sons in 1993. Worked with them until a couple years ago. People ask me if I retired. I tell them "there was a coup and they told me if I would leave quietly they would continue to give me a check". So I left. I kept telling them call me if you need me. they never call but I keep getting that little check.
On a serious note. I am a full time care giver to "sugar bugger" of 56 years this April. She has stage 4 cancer.

I bought a 16.5ft bass tracker with a 25 hp 4 striker Merc. With almost no hours. Man said it ran real good. In his defense he knew nothing about boats. The 25 was a dog 9 miles mph. I got with a prop guy and messed around with props and got up to 22 mph. By that time I was so frustrated I put a 40 hp Suzuki on it and couldn’t be happier. I asked the guy at BassPro why would Tracker put a 25 hp on that boat. No real answer. I messed with props and got the Tracker to run fast enough to be scary. It wanted to skid on sharp turns. Was afraid for the grandkids to drive it. I put a slower prop back on. Please don’t ask me about pitches and such. I’m about like the guy that sold me the boat. I run about 28 mph and that’s good enough for me. I don’t think Trackers are designed to run fast. At least not mine.

Grew up in So. Cal. Best time to be a kid in a America. Never list car keys because they were in the car. House unlocked. Never lost a thing from the yard , house or car. Not that everyone was honest. Just most.
