Years ago my late wife and I used to fish below the dam on the So. West wing right next to the wall. There’s a spot along the wall known as the “Honey Hole “. We never got skunked at that spot.

May I suggest you try the power station in your area in the Spring when it opens. If you have a power boat thats great,if not you can still fish from shore. Large fish are found there every year. You won’t be sorry!

Shucks,a little too far for me to travel! I wish someone up my way would offer the same thing you did. I’m from Plainfield, Illinois,just S. W. Of Chicago. I just turned 80 and would like to fish from a boat again. I had to sell mine a few years ago because of health problems. I also would help out with the expenses for the day.

Try using a table spoon on the fish inside a large plastic bag. Seen a fish monger do it once!
