Last time I checked MA area 13 two pole with license endorsement

Yes, there is an exception for Marine Area 13, but that's way down by Olympia and not really "open water". I would suggest that it is not even Puget Sound, which was the topic of the question. Bottom line: best not to use two lines/poles.

The "Marine Area Rules" section of the Washington sportfishing booklet specifies: one line with two hooks max, and no barbs.

Is anyone familiar with Krejing, or with the use of Krej Jerkbaits? They are slow sinkers and feature an upward slanted bill so that the lure jumps upward when jerked. Novel idea, but any good?

Not likely to find one locally (PNW) but the next time I journey to Lake of the Woods, I'll try one. I love walleye -- both the catch and the eat.

Here is one such "kit". Other responses to search term "Frog Kit" get similar results: collections of soft frog baits, mostly weedless. You can also buy them separately on Amazon.

My wife and I are planning a road trip up to Ferndale, then drive down Matole Road to the coast and on down to Pretolia. There is a 5 mile or so stretch of Motole Road that runs right along the shore. Does anyone know if that is fishable or is it part of a marine protected area? I would be fishing for surf perch, and I'm of the opinion that that would be legal. Anybody?

I live in Ferndale ... but not THAT one. Ferndale, WA. Lots of fishing here, except it's turned off right now. Should re-open soon. Good luck on your trip.

Different wavelength: IR from the camera vs sunlight from the sun. You can't see, but the camera can. The IR reflected back from the retina is still in the IR band. Hope this helps.

Very true.
WD means Water Displacement. It is not really a lubricant. It's a drying agent.
For most home applications, spray furniture polish works better. The base is wax, which IS a good lubricant for most things. When the polish drys, what's left is a nice waxy film.

A quick snap will alter the lure action -- sometimes not a lot, but almost any alteration is too much.
Try this: a short (maybe 1 foot if you're casting, more if you're trolling) piece of leader tied to the lure with a loop on the other end. Attach the loop to the quick snap. Leave the leader on the lure when you stow it -- ready for next time. Works for me.
