Tried 'em for a while and even with rinsing and clenzoil daily,saltwater life is about 1 month. Admitedly,they get heavy use 5-6 days per week. Have no experience in fresh water. dr. bob

Well, it appears you have a distinctly large math problem. For starters, 16 years and 3 months equals 844 weeks. Going to be tough to figure actual hours using much smaller number of weeks.

Fish out of Calusa Island Marina 4-5 days per week. Lots of snook and snapper but Reds hard to find.
Stayed right on Marco thru hurricane and saw no 18 ft tidal surge as we had about 8 ft above mean high. Do you have data to substantiate your statement about large fish and 3 year recovery as I am fascinated by the decline since Ian as previous hurricanes did not seem to have such a devastating effect on fishing.
26 years here and still learning. Continually out at negative tides and know areas that GPS can put you high and dry.Use same but rely on experience and caution much more than electronics.
