How often, do you fish?
How many times a year?
What's your favorite fish to fish for?
What's your favorite time of year to fish?
You prefer to fish alone or with a partner?

You don't have to answer all the questions.
Just would like to hear some answers from some of y'all. Thanks.

As if you didn't know, I prefer to fish for Stripers.
Spring and summer are nice but I think fall might be best.
I prefer to fish twice a week but have fished as many as 3 to 5 times a week when I had my own boat.
I use to fish bout 150 + days a year.
Now I'm lucky if its 40 days a year.
I think I prefer to fish with a partner, but don't mind if it's by myself either.

Look forward to seeing your answers. Thanks.πŸ€ πŸ‘

Now that I'm retired,I try to get out 2x a week, weather permitting. I like late spring to early fall the best, for numbers anyway. I catch more Largemouth due to the variety of lakes I fish, but I would prefer more Smallmouth. They're population seems to be declining around here, and our DEP officials confirm that. As far as I know, no cause has been determined.
I usually fish alone in my little boat due to space limitations, but love to fish with others in several boats. It gets a little competitive, but not seriously. It's a blast.

Once a week for trout & bass. My job & family obligations really don't give me much more than that. So 15-20 times a season, not counting M&G. Usually 5-6 days on the ice as well. I prefer to fish w someone but have gone solo.
Tight lines everyone!!

I probably fished 120 days and hunted another 30 each year. Did that for well over 30 years. I worked the graveyard most of that time. I even stayed home most weekends.

I try to get out as much as I can but it works out to once every two weeks if I’m lucky. Between work and family I’m pretty busy. Including the M&G I think I’ve went fishing about 20-25 times this year. Favorite time to fish is fall and spring because that’s when the most fish are in the range of my little boat. I fish for the β€œtug” so anything I can catch is my favorite. Seriously I like walleye and perch fishing the most. Fun and great table fair. I mostly fish alone because of my boats size and the temperature outside when the bite is on. But I love to get out with others when I can.

Good Questions always live your posts!

Tight lines
J

Virtually, every day through the stage members.
Personally, it's been over a year thanks to our southern neighbors contaminating the coastal strip were I haunt.
Anytime of year is fine, especially negative low tides. Pismo clams are a side attraction.
Usually go after halibut and corbina but barred surf perch are always welcome. All food. Shovel nosed guitar fish are a fun catch but released for the future.
Once in a while I go to to stocked pay to play lakes with friends or grandson.
I don't recall going alone and there is always someone else around especially on the pier.

My opportunities have come fewer and farther between in the last three years. Before that, I fished, on average, twice a week. I used to fish year round but it gets harder and harder to fight the cold weather. I prefer fishing for smallmouth bass when fishing freshwater and Mahi Mahi when fishing saltwater. My favorite time to fish is early Spring. I prefer to fish with a partner. I hope to get back into my old routine of twice a week this coming year, with the exception of the really cold times.

Hey Steve, Well now a days I only get to fish once a month if I'm lucky, due to work.August I am off, so got to fish a couple of times a week. In the last few years have moved to fishing for stripers as oppossed to largemouth. Due to my schedule and as my boat is just a 12', mostly fish alone. Although hope to take you out to Napa and see your spots and techniques. Hopefully in the spring.
Love to live vicariously thru you and my fellow stagers!

So far people mostly fish 1 to 2 times a week and prefer Spring or Fall.
They do like to fish with others but often go it alone.
Right now, that's the same place where I am. Welll, except for fishin alone. I haven't fished alone in a long time because I prefer to boat fish and I don't have a boat.

Walleye fishing September through November, twice a week if possible. Trout and bass early spring. Too many projects to complete during the warmer months. My fishing friend has the boat, so I cover fuel costs. We're both volunteer firefighters and wild-fire engine bosses, so were both pretty committed during the Summer months.

I like fishing for bonito, they can be caught off a pier or from the shore in San Diego”s big bay.
I fish alone.

Used to be every month or two when my Steve was with me, now it's been twice in 16 yrs. Used to fish for trout or pan fish, some times catfish, carp on light flyrod were fun. Never really liked to fish alone, some joys just need to be shared.

I retired last year. I can finally devote time for fishing 🎣
I probably average about 2 1/2 days per week.
I love the serenity of fishing alone, but my greatest pleasure comes from fishing 🎣 with my grandchildren.
We focused on Blue Gill last year. This year I intend to introduce them to catfishing.
My fishing season is May 1st to September 30th.
I to am looking forward to the various answers. Commander Bell out
