Good Morning, Stagers!!!

Today, Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 9am and 10am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 84. South wind 6 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Ah,,,,, this is the second day in a row I won't have to water the plants. Except the ones on the porch.

We are going to wait until after Marion' PET and MRA scans to look for a house. If the report is not favorable then we will stay here.

I'm going to clean the furnace ducts out today, I'm so excited!

Have a good one, and please take care of yourself, your loved ones, and others in need.

This has been posted before but since the world gets crazier by the day I thought it might be ok to remember why we do what we do.

Good Morning, Wulffy. I can do that! Thank you and have a good day.

Well, we have decided to wait until Marion's MRI & the PET scan at the end of September before we decide if we are going to move. Moving is really tough on her, and if she does not have a good report, it won't happen. The move here was a good move because of the location and the convenience of everything. We can put up with the bullshi!, but we would be happier elsewhere. So, we will wait and see what happens.

Your bedtime story for tonight:

Funny how drinking 8 glasses of water a day seems impossible but 8 beers go down quicker than an elephant on a see-saw.

Have a good evening, my friends.

Thanks Fred, it's a lot of work but I wouldn't have it any other way. I was raised on a farm and will alway have cattle just in my blood and my wife loves animals the grandkids call her mamaw Dolittle she can tame down a wild hog to the point it stayed here for years and ran with the cow's it would come within a few feet of her by herself on her golf cart. Here's a few pictures of Kay and Lulu one of her bottle babies she raised about 18 years ago 😂 and a picture of a Red shoulder hawk that would sit on our back porch and visit, just another day around here...
Thanks Fred, it's a lot of work but I wouldn't hav... (show quote)

Vary good! Thanks for sharing the story and the pictures, Chuckay.

My dear friends, I am leaving The Stage today. I was reading through some fishing reports and other things in the fishing section and it reminded me of how little I have to offer. Posting what I have been sending to a fishing site is not what it was designed for. I appreciate all the friendship and all of you for making me a friend.

Oh God NO, hack, we are all so old that we do not fish that much anymore, so, all we have to do is talk about when we did. It's what old people do! I want to read you tomorrow, please!

Looks great mike, we grow lots of our vegetables and still make pickles and put up corn, peas, that's the best way.
Looks like you have it under control thanks for the pictures.

My 3 plants on the deck didn't do that well, I'll be down to pick some up.

I have a friend who lives close to the Gulf who has told me he won’t eat anything that comes from that area any more.

My thought is that it mostly comes from the fertilizer that they dump on their lawns and golf courses. But, what do I know? The fertilizers promote algae which depletes the O2.

A man threatened Biden and while being arrested was k**led by FBI. Sad commentary for our country. I realize we don’t like our politicians but to threaten to k**l them is crazy. I cannot believe the craziness in our country.

I'm with you, Frank, Biden may not know what going on, but that is not a reason to k**l him. The FBI is doing their job.

Good morning, everyone. Sitting here at the Oakland International Airport waiting to catch my flight back home. Will be there for two weeks reuniting with my wife and dog. Got a few Dr. check ups and I’m sure a few honey do’s. Been looking forward to this little reprieve. I’ll still be hanging around the stage and keeping up with the latest gossip…🐟on

Have a safe flight, Dave, we'll catch you on the back side.

I'm new to this forum and have yet to post anything but this will be my first. I caught this 22.5", 5.5 lbs lm bass while ice fishing this past winter on Shawano Lake, WI. Me and a buddy were actually fishing for crappies and it was a slow, tough day of fishing before I hooked into this beast. It was my PB for a LM Bass so I decided to put it on the wall. I should be getting my mount back soon. Once I do, I'll snap a couple pics and add them to this post.

Good Morning, Billdozer, Welcome to the Stage!!! I love that area up there, we used to fish salmon at Mishecot in the Fall. I caught 66 salmon with an 8# fly rod and a size 10 freshwater shrimp fly during a long weekend.
