What's a "western" lake? Or better where? I'm in California, right around Sacramento and we have all those and more, although I've never heard of a cracker. I can tell you where to go to catch any of those, and all within 25 miles of where I live. And what have you got against trout?

Please do not scare the guy....I mean the trout, he is on his 24th jam yet.....Tight Lines.

Too cold for who? Certainly not for the trout. They'll be there and they'll be hungry. Dress warmly.

Experimenting is the key. Sometimes you go out and get skunked only to find the fish are hitting the least likely lure or holding at a different depth than expected. Come prepared and get ready to change your game . Don’t waste time doing things that aren’t working.

Just how MUCH TIME do we WAIT do our cast/wait, twik routine/strategy, BEFORE we try another one???........10 minutes?.....20 minutes?......Tnx a lot.

Can I go to my nearest grocery store to buy shrimp and use this as bait at the pier? I used plastic lures today at the pier and nothing but. I don’t know what bait to use or even where to buy them.

My best bet would be ...Goto Walmart Sports Section (if U do NOT have a Bait Shop near U)......they usually sell Bait !!!......maybe a dozen plus minus...Red Worms and or Night Crawlers for about $3 ......in a 5" diameter plastic tub (from their coolers)!.....Tight Lines!

I need to learn these fishing terms, haha. Yeah, the hook is attached about 6” below the bobber. And ok, I’ll take the lure off. I have the lure hooked through the hook. Not sure about my hook size, but I could always post a photo. Thank you so much for the info so far!

You could always snap pictures of a creeper and license plate too. Send a text or pretend to send a text. Most creeps don’t like to be called out or have their actions pointed out to others. I get it if you did not want to be confrontational, just offering an option. Good job keeping your self safe.
