Nobody is mentioning UVA and UVB protection. Polarized glasses are a must but they’re not all created equal. Make sure whatever you buy has both UVA and UVB Protection for your eyes.

I don't taget them but I will eat them if it's all I caught.

Never attempted to eat one, but I always break that barb off with pliers before releasing them. Hopefully if they do grow back, they’re a blunt weapon.

What is this. Might be an easy one but want to show different creatures around here.

Horseshoe crabs have been around for more than 300 million years, making them even older than dinosaurs. They look like prehistoric crabs, but are actually more closely related to scorpions and spiders. The horseshoe crab has a hard exoskeleton and 10 legs, which it uses for walking along the seafloor.

Shopping for barbless hooks and came across these. Anybody know how to attach this to a line so it won't come off when you catch a fish? As if I would have to worry about that.

Hey Spirit,
Any reputable Fly Shop has barbless fools. One I use is Caddis Fly Shop (caddisflyshop.com).
Search for barbless hooks and you’ll get 350 choices, as big or small as you like.

We used to catch lots of trout there trolling or drifting with the wind using fly rods, sinking line and damsel flies.

What do I use to catch tilapia with?

I heard you can catch them on peas. Everyone I’ve witnessed catching them was using a cast net.
