Good morning!!!

Yesterday’s face was my hearing aid charger. Today’s face is my charger at night 😁

Hey Chief, I always enjoy your imagination and photos. Now I’m finding them myself! This was in phone cord packaging.

It's a litle cooler these days. Maybe thatcwill push some of them further south.

Yea I’m not sure where the schools are I’m a little out of touch this year, but they mostly moved offshore by the time they got this far south last couple years. Always a few stragglers though

Nice slot Bass JD! Glad to see some moving south. Yep, you look cold. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Fred, my first slot this year but I released him. I might take one or two a year but mostly like catching them.

That’s outstanding. I only saw hundreds of fishermen catch one undersized striped bass in 59 trips to Manasquan this year.

Thanks Bands, I’ve done fairly well there this fall but mostly residence. That’s my biggest fish there this year. I’ve been wanting to get up your way this fall but been busy w work and can’t really take a day now.

Decided to drive 10 minutes to local fishing pier in Great EggHarbor Bay and fish incoming tide.

Air temp was 37 w 7 mph wind from North. First 10 minutes 28” on a plastic eel w 3/8 jig head.
Lost a second one that was stripping my line and ran under pier, I lost pressure for a second and he was gone. One that got away always hurts but better then watching tv. I’m gonna try to get better at my selfies😁
I was happier then I look, just cold 🥶

What are you talking about? All I’m doing is replying to a post too. No need to get offensive because you disagree.

One thing I like about FS is they offer a money back guarantee if for any reason you’re not satisfied.👍🏻

[quote=FixorFish]Once again, you simply have a burr under your saddle about the XL pipeline....a CANADIAN entity that was simply using the U.S. as a shortcut to ocean shipping of the "tar sand oil" to nations overseas....NOT ONE DROP was slated to be for U.S. consumption, ever......jeeesh....do some research, please.

(And the jobs "created" to build that pipeline....that would undoubtedly have eventually had some "spill/leak event" that despoiled OUR WATERWAYS.....ALL were short-term (then what ? say the truck drivers and earth-moving folks) and the maintenance would employ at most, 30-50 for its entire length through our nation's heartland...hardly a giant economic boost....and zero guarantee that they would even be U.S. citizenry performing that maintenance. Not a huge task to find this info online.
But of course, as I have uttered many a time, quoting a GratefulDead lyric....."You ain't gonna learn what you don't want to know")[/quote.

As if ANY ADMINISTRATION, EVER had a say in what gas prices are.

And a big chuckle, Barnacles, as to your assumption that an individual states political bent has ANYTHING to do with pricing....it does not.
California is as blue as it gets, Texas is as red as it gets, and my state of Oregon is basically "purple" (and paying just barely above $4/gal)....and yet you still persist in making such a statement that will undoubtedly cause some ill-informed folk to make the same assumption.
Are you exacerbating our nation's present d******e political divide over your local petroleum distribution entities' greed and/or unavoidable expenses ?.....seems like it, imo.

May surprise you but taxes are included in the price of gas, so obviously it would impact the price. You know blue states generally have higher taxes right? You also realize when a president declares war on f****l f**ls, shuts down a pipeline and reduces places to drill it will impact price and production. Or when your president is a dick and insults foreign leaders and then asks the same countries to increase production but they decide to reduce because you treated them poorly. Also you must ignore what gas prices were when President Trump was in office. Much cheaper, weren’t the oil companies greedy then too?
You realize your state government makes for more off a gallon of gas then the oil companies right? Must mean your state government is greedy too.

I truly have no answers my friend. I guess it’s the price you pay for living in a democratic progressive city. Life was much better before mayor nuisance came into power.

Well hope you all can turn it around, California has some of the most beautiful areas in the country.

$5.59 for regular this morning. Tried to drive to my dogs vet appointment this morning. Normally a 15 minute drive. Took over an hour with all the street closures due to APEC. Yes the downtown area looks great but it was very obvious while driving through the city that they just moved them to other parts of the city! Nothing more then a political bandaid! Now let’s see all the nimbys start to complain when the homeless are now sleeping on their doorsteps!

What a shame, I went to SF in ‘97 and I thought it was a beautiful city. Went back w family in 2019 and they broke windows in van while we ate dinner and stole most of our luggage and electronics. Police wouldn’t even come out. Every park was full of homeless in tents and boxes. And yes, we were actually privileged enough to see someone poop on the street😳. We ended up leaving same day we got there.
Funny thing is die hard liberals won’t admit there is a problem. $100k a year for a single person is considered “low income” in SF. Don’t know how people afford to live there.

Fishdadd,
As one who grew up in NYS where a 5 lber was a hawg; now having moved to Southern California a few decades ago and having caught 3-10+ lbers, I can attest that's a 10 lb Ohio bass you got there.
Very well done.
I didn't realize the Ohio bass bite went into November.

Although it’s slower and mostly bottom fishing, drip shot and jigs you can catch LMB all year. Personally I never fished for them in winter until my son talked me into going when the temps climbed for a couple days. Makes sense they have to eat even when conditions are not what they prefer.

Nice Bass, and your right relative to where you are it’s huge considering Ohios record is 13 and change. Jersey record is 10-14 and my personal best is 7-14. Northern strains will never reach the size of Florida strains.
