November 13th, went hunting the rut, but the dang weather was so nice I couldn’t do it and grabbed my rod out of the truck and “shot” this instead!

In northern Ohio, you can add half again to match up to Fla, Tx, and Cal, right, which makes that one a ten pounder!

Just kidding but maybe not, what do you guys think?

Nice bass, good catching. Not sure how much to add for other states, but other states do have some large fish too. Thanks for sharing.

That's a nice fish, here in Florida you can catch 6 pounders pretty easy🎣 but in Ohio I would say that's like a 10-pounder or more, either way that's a good fish. I still would have rather went home and ate biscuits, gravy and backstrap😂
You got to remember y'all have deer twice the size of the ones we have here though 😂

Fishdadd,
As one who grew up in NYS where a 5 lber was a hawg; now having moved to Southern California a few decades ago and having caught 3-10+ lbers, I can attest that's a 10 lb Ohio bass you got there.
Very well done.
I didn't realize the Ohio bass bite went into November.

And they get smaller the further south you go. LOL

That’s one fine bass there Fishdadd, a six plus pounder in Pa. here raises some eyebrows.

Key deer are really small, it's about time to go to the keys for a little trip, only 3 1/2 have to key Largo.🎣🎣

Nice Bass, and your right relative to where you are it’s huge considering Ohios record is 13 and change. Jersey record is 10-14 and my personal best is 7-14. Northern strains will never reach the size of Florida strains.

Although it’s slower and mostly bottom fishing, drip shot and jigs you can catch LMB all year. Personally I never fished for them in winter until my son talked me into going when the temps climbed for a couple days. Makes sense they have to eat even when conditions are not what they prefer.
