Thought this was good, so I am posting here for you guys and gals. Hope you enjoy.

Most seiners never get enough exercise. In his wisdom God decreed that seniors become forgetful so they would have to search for their glasses, keys, and other things., thus doing more walking. And God looked down and saw that it was good.

Then God saw there was another need. In his wisdom He made seniors loose coordination so they would drop things requiring them to bend, reach & stretch. And God looked down and saw that it was good.

Then God considered the function of bladders and decided seniors would have additional calls to nature requiring more trips to the bathroom, thus providing more exercise. God looked down and saw that it was good.

So if you find as you age, you are getting up and down more, remember it’s God’s will. It is all in your best interest even tho you mutter under your breath.

Nine Important Facts To Remember As We Grow Older

#9 Death is the number 1 killer in the world.
#8 Life is sexually transmitted.
#7 Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.
#6 Men have 2 motivations: hunger and hanky lanky, and they can’t tell them apart.
If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich.
#5 Guys give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the internet and they won’t bother you for weeks, months, maybe years.
#4 Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing.
#3 All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
#2 In the 60’s, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.
#1 Life is like a jar of jalapeño peppers. What you do today may be a burning issue tomorrow.

Don’t ignore this message. This is your only warning.

Hey Bonzo. I met Duncan Renaldo, back in the 1950’s in Cisco, Texas. The town celebrated their diamond jubilee, and the Cisco Kid was there to perform a stage coach from being robbed. My dad was tall and grew a beard and looked like Abe Lincoln. My dad’s brother, J. W. Sitton wrote a book about the famous Cisco Santa Clause Bank Robbery. I still have a few of the books left. Hope that I can republish them

Back in the early 1950’s in El Paso, Texas, a neighbor kid and I ran away from home climbing up to Scenic Drive on the Franklin mountains, headed to California to see Roy Rogers.

If the fish are high in contamaments, do they suffer from it? In other words do the live less longer than normal or develop signs that are noticeable? Color, deformations, etc? I know where I live the game and fish commission says to eat fewer catfish from the Bogue Chitto river because of mercury from manufacturing up stream of us.

I wish I still had my 17’ square stern Alumacraft. The second of my Canoe’s that I have owned. The first was a wooden frame with canvas skin. When I left Texas I gave it to a Boy Scout camp where I lived. They fixed it back up and used it. I have not seen one in a long time.

Interesting concept of fishing from a boat. Enjoyed it very much. My question is, how much of a tip is required for what service to the different boat handlers and captain? In this case the trip ends up costing much more than originally expected.

Hang in there lady. I’d much rather have a cold or the flu than what I got now. Broken legs are for the birds. Well, maybe not, but I feel for ya.

I worked in Norton, VA. for about 3 days several years ago. The folks there seemed to be rather different. They watched us every where the three of us guys went. They would just stand there and watch us walk by. The clothes they wore were old hang me downs looking things. The women we saw were not good either. I saw one real nice looking woman in a restaurant of the hotel were in wearing tight jeans and a real colorful blouse. When she turned she bout scared the pants off me. Old ragged teeth and an awful smile that would stop a freight train. The only safe place we were at was on the top the mountain, Bald Knob. No trees or grass or anything else, just the UHF transmitter tower and equipment building where we were working. I did get to see some Cole mining trains coming out of the mountains. Never went back.

The only time I ever went to Mexico was in 1950. We traveled to Wareze (sp), and I had a good time. My mom and dad went back and went to one of the bull fights. I wanted to go but they said I did not need to see such a thing. Dad was in the Air Force and we lived in El Paso, Texas. Always wanted to go back was reluctant to because all the crap I had heard about. I guess it must be different in the cities on the border and deeper in.

I used drive by one of those in Slidell, LA. and for a long time did not know what was there until my cousin told me. Boy, the kind of folks that were members. Dr.’s, lawyers, and all kinds. I had no idea that that was near. Oh, well, N.O., is Sin City.
