uncut6 said it , i'm wired that way with me Helix-5 . unless you run the battery way down you won't have a problem
I agree , only in Texas and that little guy is off to a great start
on my last two i saved a lot of money buying the penn combos everything is matched and balanced as well
lake fishing with my brother-in-law cruising the shore line throwing a rooster tail only catching small crappy and blue gills I went to another rod with a spoon and laid the first one on the front deck of his ranger with the line about 4 in. above the water when a large mouth bass jumped up and hooked him self, well I didn't notice until he said what kinda lure is that ? the bass was 3in. long and i had a heck of a time getting it off the treble hook but no harm done . still cracks us up !
I also have the helix 5 G3 and love it as well
everything has gotten way too tech crazy for me , for 50 yrs. I just go with small rod -small reel , large to large , medium to medium etc. the rod has spects printed on it as to line and weight it will handle match your line to that , go fishing .
well Jess you are a week into it so it will be soon that you are back to your good ole self , hope to hear that soon
