You can always tell if a restaurant is trying to pass off skate wings for scallops. They will all look identical and have more of a fishy taste. Also, the skate meat will not have the muscle strip where the scallop was connected to the shell. They really don't taste enough like scallops to pass for if you know what good scallops taste like.
Sprit, you don't really know me so I need to make sure you know I was kidding and not giving you a hard time. I should have added a LOL or just kidding. Hope you're doing well.
Dang Spirit I eat more chicken than any other meat and I fix pork ribs and chops regularly. Thanks a lot
I thought they tasted like mud, obviously it was something worse than mud. Oh well, I'm still kicking but I don't eat Tilapia.

I have seen folks on TV fishing shows using 8 to 12 different rods positioned around the boat. They appear to be fishing in channels. I believe it is just knowledge of the lake and where they are in Fall. I love Fall fishing whether it's saltwater or freshwater. In North Carolina it is a beautiful time of year.
Congratulations! I'm sure you have many interesting stories from coaching. Very rewarding.
You always need to ask what type of fish is used in their fish tacos. I can't believe it when I see it on the menu.
Welcome FB35! Fly, you've probably said before that the plaque is for wrestling Hall of Fame, congratulations, but I've always thought it was for some kind of fishing award. Did you coach wrestling? It's great to be honored by your peers.
The meat tastes like mud to me. I've eaten all types of farm raised fish and although it generally is not as good as fresh it tastes better than Tilapia. I won't eat it.
Yes but isn't that deep blue water beautiful. If you're surf fishing there's usually scenery on the beach.
If no one on that island knew anything about surf fishing, I believe it probably is not the best place to go surf fishing. Come to the coast of North Carolina. This is prime surf fishing for all of October.
Didn't know you had crappie in Ontario. Kidding, but I'm not sure but it would seem to me the same tactics would work. Folks from up North will be more help.
I meant to say minimum 3 to 4. I've caught them in 14feet and they probably go deeper.
